Are you still seeing this?

No. I tried 'send me confirmation email' link and it sent me an email. Confirming that link worked. I'm still not clear why it was so.

I've reported a decrease of views count for my article PVS.AVPlayer - MCI Audio and Video Library[^] some time ago.
You have answered and corrected that, but recently I keep seeing (for at least 5 times) the views counter running backwards again. Is there something I should/can do about that?
Thanks, Peter

I've just took a look at how reputation increases and found that only one of my article is now helping my reputation, i.e.:
Introduction to PayPal for C# - ASP.NET developers[^]
This article was quite helpful also:
Versatile WebCam C# library[^]
But since I was trying to collaborate with others, I've moved my source code to GitHub repository. Now, the problem is - source code downloads no longer count - i.e. when people go to GitHub and download source, obviously CodeProject can't take those downloads into account.
So, I am wondering - is it possible to solve this problem in some way? Like count click on "Download source" link as a download? Obviously you guys at CodeProject are also interested in supporting scenario where readers of the article can submit pull requests. And we, authors, should get credit - i.e. not get penalized if we are making our source available as Git repo rather than simple zip file.
If you have any suggestion how I can do both (keep my GitHub repo and get reputation credit for source download on CodeProject) - please let me know.

I believe there are a few JavaScript problems in the website, one of them is mentioned below; message doesn't show up as it has to be on articles but the page refreshes and then loads the messages.
Apart from that, on articles... The rating meter is also not shown as stars, but as 5 radio buttons. Which, also if has to be rated from, refreshes the page.
Finally, there is an ILLEGAL token error present, (In my case, Console gave me the link of AngularJS-MVC-Repository-Dispose:3070 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL)
$downloads.after('<div class="float-left" style="margin-top:25px;margin-left:30px"><div data-format='1x11' data-type='ad'
data-publisher='lqm.codeproject.site' data-zone='downloadlink' data-tags='C%23%2cASP.NET%2c.NET%2cHTML%2cArchitect%2cDesign%2cBeginner%2
cIntermediate%2cAdvanced%2cC%234.0%2cMVC%2cpattern%2cRepository%2cSQL-
server-2008R2%2c.NET4.5%2cAngularJS%2cVS2013'></div></div>');
I believe you wanted to have data-format="1x11" ; as double quotes not single ones. Which broke the value I guess.

Single vs double quotes doesn't matter in Javscript. As long as they are balanced.
I'll correct.

When I select a message on an article (or in certain forums), the page refreshes and doesn't automatically display the message. Generally this also causes the page to jump from where I am to page 1, where the message possibly doesn't exist. This causes some headaches in trying to read past page 1.

Same here: Page reloads when clicking on a message in articles.
Also: The rating-widget on articles is displayed as ordinary radio-buttons instead of stars.
Not yet observed: this happening in forums / the jump-to-page-1-effect

I tried to change my email from a GMail.com one to a Live.com one, and I got a message stating that the email was in use for authentication but not actually authenticated, and a 'forgot password' check shows that the email is unused. What gives?

Same thing.
I get:

Email already in use for Authentication, but email was not correctly authenticated. Please supply a password.
Problem is, I don't know what password I used for that email.

Send me an email from the account to which you'd like to change your address and I'll get it sorted. I need to know the email you wish to use is actually one you control.

Here is what happened. Some members reported some broken links in few of my recent answers. I checked it up and found that there are a lot more.
Fortunately, they are easy to fix: past answers with the URL of the form "http://www.codeproject.com/Answers/... .../*.aspx#answer*", can be fixed by just removing "*.aspx" part.
I have a big collections of links used to answer questions, mostly the CodeProject links, and most of them are the links to my own past answers. ("Permalinks", by the way.) I recently reviewed it and found that about a half of my and some other links were broken in the way described above. I fixed and re-checked up all of them, but the harder problem remains: there are many answers (including those good for referencing or actually presently referenced in other posts) which still have those broken links. Even though I could fix them all, there is no a certain criteria for finding them. Besides, some other members reference each other posts, mine or not.
I missed the moment when the URL structure and existing "permalinks" were modified, and neglected those broken links since them, and by now such problems have been accumulated.
Can anything be done?
Thank you,

Great. Sorry, I looked at your message absentmindedly.
I guess… do you mean that you are going to make accept both formats of URL to present the same page, old one (with .aspx) and the new one? It that the idea?
