Click on the username takes you to a new screen with the left navigation menu.
By making a choose, the menu disapears, or is changing. WHY...I'm still in my account en it's my navigation menu with head items....
Waiting for the day, I'll solve your problem.

I overviewed and referenced a commercial (paid) product, PureBasic, to the extent that at the end of the article have its price from its developer.
I clearly wrote in this article that I'm not a spammer, do not advertise the product and do not work for its developer. Well, just wrote an article about PL, period. But some participants do not believe me. Could this article be deleted my moderation, if participants'll report?
How can I prove that I'm really not a spammer?

Maybe there is no bug and it is at your end, or maybe they are extremely busy, or possibly they just don't know about the bug until you posted your message.

When I logged in this morning, my settings had gone. Instead of my usual 50 messages per fluid page, I was down to 25 per fixed layout page. My notification settings had changed as well. Now, I know I didn't change things.

Ah you must have been the first to fall victim of the santa hamster.
He doesn't really care if you'v been good or bad, he just likes to play tricks.
He is a not so jolly one this hamster, something about being left in the cold.
Of course nobody knows the real story, well nobody except CM but he isn't telling.
I'd say leave a bottle of gin out for him, but that just makes things worse.
He only comes out to play around x-mas, so just another couple days
and everything will be back to the way it was before.

I slipped-up and forgot to make a backup of my "solution" before the "jaws of death" closed: [^].
Is that "version" hack still available that someone here (Rage ?) showed me how to use to recover the post ?
Edit: yes, it was ProgramFox showed me how to find a deleted response using the 'version url, and I found it, sans carriage-returns, but otherwise intact.
Unfortunately, I lost my comment to Sergey's comment which was meant to go in my ammunition box

Allow the author to set the Author level at which a member must be in order to vote on his article. This is based on the assumption that most higher level users are actually programmers and have a certain level of maturity and integrity.
The default would be ALL, but other levels would be Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Also, allow the author to contest a vote that is not tied to reporting a message as abuse or spam. Another option in the report icon menu could be "Unjustified".

I can understand your concern but that won't help as all will start setting level as platinum and in most of the case i have seen,members going through and making use of the Article are bronze or silver levels.
We have rating system in place especially to handle such cases. These negative voting will not make any effect. As per as the recent case is concerned, member is under process and will be no more within few hours.
If you still find such members who always see everything negatively, mention them at SA watch and necessary action will be taken (We had found such members in past).

What's the specific problem you're looking to solve?
I'm in favour of fixing broken things. I'm not in favour of breaking something else to fix something. And then causing leaks and squeaks and endless complaints about the fix forever after.

And you call yourself a programmer?
BTW, you might recall an earlier suggestion I made regarding only allowing "This article is useful" votes, eliminating the numeric voting altogether. Of course, there's really no way to back-fill the system unless you make the assumption that an existing vote of (for example) 4 or more is required to determine whether or not an article is "useful", and all (existing) lower votes are thrown out.

When approving a forum message from the moderation queue, it will be shown as modified (" [modified]" appended to the subject). This might irritate the poster.
Also the message count on the user's profile will count such messages twice. I just noticed this behaviour with a new member posting his first message. When then openning the Lates Messages list, there will be only one message shown.
