Seems to be: I just tried a test answer to this one: Number of triplets with same edge color in complete graph[^] and it "took" fine.
Another try with the original and it didn't "take". Only difference I noticed was that the failed attempt was quick: there was a noticeable delay when the answer took, and very little when it didn't.
I'd expect a delay: Send data to you, check if it's already there, feed it to the spam filter, hand off to database, update page. This was quick - not instant, but noticeably quicker.

Interesting.
The answer is submitted with an AJAX call to our servers.
Could you use the browser dev tools or Fiddler to capture the request and response for this call and any retries.
The fact it is responding from quickly means that there is a problem and we are returning OK, or we aren't handling an error response properly.

This is getting interesting.
This question was actually posted twice.
The one you answered was {"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."} and has your answer.
The reason that you could post to the latest one is probably due to a bug in our duplicate answer checker. This is used to prevent Spam and posting twice due to network errors and retries.
I'll figure it this one out.

Just so you know ... I still can't post a "real" solution to it, even if I add contemt at teh end to make it different from any other.

When I hover over them, the cursor changes to the I-beam and I can only select text, clicking does nothing. All other links in that menu seem to work and I can access those particular boards from the side menu.

Happened to me twice this AM as well - I post, it takes a while then you get the "your solution" display confirming it's in.
Then you check the home page or QA later and the solutions count is zero. Check the question and the solution is gone. I suspect a server, but it's difficult to tell which if it's part of the DB server farm I assume is in place.

How to reproduce:
Account -> Password -> Change
Whenever I hover over Chrome password suggestion, "Change" popup closes.

In FireFox i can't reproduce your problem.
So, try to use different browser.

- "Sorry, can't reproduce your problem on Ubuntu; try using a different OS"
I don't care if it works on Firefox or whatever else browser, I'm using latest Chrome version

Have you viewing pages at 100% or is it zoomed / shrunk?
I'm running the latest chrome as well and cannot reproduce this issue.
