Reason for my vote of 5 Many thanks, Walt, for pointing out to these important issues. long time ago I have published an article: How to Detect Browser Capabilities in ASP.NET, available on CodeProject, though it's dealing with .NET framework and, therefore, coded in C#
thank you for replying. i didn't know about these reasons, however in my opinion some of the reasons were not likely to worry about such as: 1-Making Code Harder to Maintain(not necessary). 2-Faking the User Agent(as mentioned in the same post i wont worry about someone who went so far Faking his User Agent). 3-Dealing With the Complex User Agent String(i found it easier than using the css hacks). thanks again that helped.
