How to pass sessions from one web application to another web application in asp.net.

I want to share the sessions between multiple web applications in asp.net. Is there any way in asp.net through which i can achieve this. If user has logged out from any project/Application then the session that was shared should be killed or destroyed.
Please share a sample project or code.

What I have tried:

i was individually creating session for each project.But when i was logging out from one application then the user was still seem to be login in another application.
