Retrieving user profiles from Facebook

Hello All,

I am developing a web application (asp.net,C#) that will use the email address from the database to find respective facebook profiles.

Can anyone please help me into this ?

What I have tried:

I went through web documentations and also facebook for developers ,
The facebook for developers was focussed towards PHP..

Actually what I need to extract is the user profiles based on the the emails I have in the database.
