How do I code a live streaming app in android studio

hello guys

first i am a beginner app developer and i'm working on a live streaming app and i would like to understand how it "live streaming" works in terms of programming.

second if anyone can help me into guiding me into steps of like how to connect the camera into a live stream in android studio it would be a big help and i would appreciate

third the app is more like periscope so if anyone have an idea of things to go thru or how i can do it help me out

As a beginner, perhaps you would consider a less ambitious app to get started with. Some of the requirements you mention I would consider medium-level at best, but for sure not entry-level.
