Automatic backup

Hello guys!
I have made an application which creates entire backup of a database.

Now, I want to automate my application such that it takes backup automatically at windows startup or at a given time specified by user.

How can I do this?(in windows xp)

Solution 1

You can use Windows Task Scheduler to run a program at a particular time, or add it to one of the registry keys to run at startup; can't remember the exact keyname offhand but I'm sure Google will be able to help.

Click Start, Run and type: control schedtasks
Then follow the wizard.
