how to publish a asp.net website

Sir,

I have no much more idea about asp.net. In my site i am using my webpage,master page and backend as mysql server. here i can run this site in my browser.But i can not publish this site to ftp server.So please tell me how to publish this site to ftp server? Is it possible?

FTP Server? You publish a web application to a web server, not an FTP server. Perhaps you need to clarify your inquiry for me to understand it better.

Solution 2

Just right click on root directory at 'solution explorer' and choose publish website, Publish Web Site Dialog box appears, select your ftp location
