Hello,

am trying to monitor network traffic on all opened ports on my system and filter or block some request based on the content of the data, but don't know where to start

can you please recommend any guide?

We used Cace and Endace hardware at my previous job

Wireshark is. My coworker had written many plugins to use with it.
