DateTimePicker dates according to database entries

Hi,
I have an accounts program. My cash book shows data based on date picked from DateTimePicker.
Cash book is not entered everyday. I want to make my datetimepicker so that based on dates found in the database, it changes colour or enable / disable some dates, for which cash book has been entered.
How is it possible?
