You can't count the visitors using javascript. It is just client-side scripting.

You can't do this using JavaScript only, you have to use any server-side technology as well like(ASP,ASP.NET,PHP).

Sign up with Google Analytics[^], then they will give you some Javascript to put on your site and count your visitors for you.
