Use these properties from the asp:menu to set the highlighted color for the menu item after selection

you can use below property tag for the Highlight the Menu item

StaticSelectedStyle

but if you navigate the page and use same control for all the page(means menu is into master page ) then your selected item will not be set (menu item will Reloaded).
