how to create shortcut or another such facility for asp.net website

hi friends i want to develop a demo vendor registration page and deliver it to client which would perform various testing in different environment and if sucessfull would accept it before uploading it on server. now i want your help regarding this.

now should i give him whole Visual studio s/w so that he could carry out his testing or should i give him only .net framework.if i gave him only .net framework then how i could create an icon ( or something like shortcut keys facility ) so that on clicking that icon the projects starts executing(i.e website starts running). the project is also going to have small database .so please help me

I am afraid, if you could visit CP and post a question, how could you not figure out how to create a desktop shortcut for a website yourself?

Solution 1

You can use clients's local host (IIS) to run the project and simply create a web link to the website as IE shortcut on client's PC so that client can start the website by simply clicking on the shortcut.
