Search Option Flexibility

Hi all

I want to make a search option just like it is given in windows operating system..
means i want to write only"A" and it show me all the data where "A" comes and when i click any result it shows me its full details..

Any kind of help will be highly appreciated..

And where are you searching the data from? Files, database, somewhere else?

he VB.NET 'Like' operator compares a string to a pattern returning True if the pattern is found in the string or False if the pattern is not found in the string.

For this i have to use full text search option given in sql or any other RDBMS
