Hi All,

I am working on ASP.net project where we are providing facility to user to upload images/photos. But he want to edit & save those images like add text or get some part of image and save the image.

Is there any such tools available which are free of cost and can be integrated into asp.net page easily?

Please help.

Thanks,

Like B Birajdar said, this is not a trivial thing so it will also not be cheap if you want a quick solution.
If you want an idea of what is involved, then this[^] is a reasonably good page to read. It is for a specific commercial product, but it shows clearly why you will likely need a commercial back-end sdk if you want this to happen in any reasonable amount of time.

Thanks Markus..I agree with your views
Good things never come for free.. you can consider a paid solution if it suits your needs. They have provided with code samples as well http://neodynamic.com/ND/FaqsTipsTricks.aspx?tabid=66&prodid=0&sid=90

Hi,
I realize, I've joined this party a bit late. Here's my two cents.
Link : studiojs: A set of jQuery plugins that compose a flexible, web-based image editing studio.

Of course, thank you for asking that question, I did so my self today and had the opportunity to answer yours.

It's a bad idea to reopen old questions - particularly 5 year old questions - and post links, even if it's a good solution. It's generally seen as "rep point farming" and can lead to you being banned from the site, even if it wasn't intended that why when you posted.

Hey OriginalGriff, Richard Deeming,
if you feel that way, apologies for hurting your sensitivities on the subject. I came at it from a different angle and mentioned so in the post itself. I hope that clarifies the intent.

UnQuote.

My two cents on the subject: When in doubt, Google it, if you find a better answer which no one has answered better than you can; it's your duty to post it. Tommorow, someone else may have the same question. Due to your answer they may not 'need' to search for or perhaps build a better way to do so.

That's me folks, no hard feelings.

It's not my sensitivities - it if was, I have started the process of closing your account rather than giving you a friendly warning that it's a bad idea!

A "bit" late?! This question was posted more than a year before you joined!

It looks like a reasonable link, but there's very little chance that the OP is still waiting for an answer after this long.

You're not going to get a reply to this message from the OP as this was asked 7 years ago. The OP hasn't been around since.

Instead of posting your question as an answer, open your own question by going to the Quick Answers menu and clicking "Ask a question".
