Sharepoint site is down

Hi,

We have a sharepoint site, Its been working very well and now its down. the event log shows could not connect to the server (db). We already faced this problem before so what we did was restore the database (content DB) and everything was back to normal. Now we are again having this problem its repeating again and again any ideas what might be the problem.

Stop holding your breath. Just think for a second or two: do we have enough access to your hard drive to figure out how to solve your problem? :-)

Since you didn't give any information at all, I can only conclude: You are doing it wrong.

That's the best you will get considering your "description".
