Dropdownlist Selected item should be displayed in gridview

Dear Friends,

I have a dropdownlist with 5 items in it. When i select one item from dropdown.that particular records should be displayed in gridview.

Please suggest me. am New to Programming. Please Explain me in detail with Example.
