CAN U PLS TELL ME HOW TO CAST THIS TO DECIMAL..IM UUSING

SELECT * from [DBO].[FormatIndianCurrency]

TO PUT INDIAN STYLE COMMA FOR AMOUNT FIELDS..WHEN I USE THIS CURRENCY FUNCTION IT IS RETURNING THE VALUE AS STRING..SO PLS TELL ME HOW TO CHANGE THE STRING VALUE TO DECIMAL VALUE.
