View customers details With crystal reports

Hi,
Id like to know as to how to go about creating a report. Say for example, I type the customers name in the text box and I want the report to display all the information about the clients purchase of goods, how does one do this?

From there id like to know , how then can I have the crystal report be displayed in PDF format?
Using Visual Studio 2008 .NET Framework 3.5

Try the above links and yes, you can convert the report to pdf format and then show it .

well you have an option for converting your report in various format, as you know that export option is available for crystal report, so just export it through code and then show it
