Better to go for vb2010 -> Open Web Site
Becoz sometime ur .sln file may go infected or damaged.
better go like this and save new .sln

This web Project create to 2 project.
And Defult Mastpage,CSS,js And Account
Folder Delete after Check your Solution ??

i think its depend on your requirement, if you need a project to be deployed then go for Web project otherwise else...

as of my knowledge Best way to to open the website from your .Sln file because it create a shortcut for all your project and also take a less time to open your project instead of new. and all are updated is directly save to your .sln file so its good way.
