Hi,

How to connect 64 bit oracle 10g installed on Linux server from 32 bit Windows 7 with asp.net??
I have successfully connected and used 32 bit oracle 10g with the same.

Now i am getting
HTML
system.data.oledb.oledbexception
when trying to connect 64 bit linux and 10g oracle.

In error message i am getting random special characters every time.

Any suggestions...

Hello,

It is not a problem at all in Oracle, the client works fine with any server (32-bit or 64-bit or big-endian or little-endian, whatever). Are you using ODP.NET? If not then please try using ODP.NET. Please do remember to download[^] the correct version of ODP.NET that matches with the version of your database eg. 10.2.0.2.21, 10.2.0.2.20 etc.

Regards,
