No need to use any language - pin 1 is +5V, pin 4 is Gnd.
Connect you LED the correct way round to these pins via a current limiting resistor (probably 470R thru 10K depending on the LED) and it should illuminate.

If you want to control it's on/off state programatically you will probably need to build a circuit based around a microcontroller with suitable USB stack software embedded and driver installed on the PC. Overkill for LED control IMO.

you didnt get my point i already connect LED to my laptop and its on but i want to turn on/off using vb6 but the problem is that i connected usbLPT with my laptop and its not giving me address of usbLPT i need address!!
