Count words in richtextbox in vb.net

I want to count words in richtextbox live.
Tried this solution but not work after enter key:

VB

Dim w As String() = RichTextBox1.Text.Split(" ".ToCharArray())
 label1.Text = "       Words :- " & w.Length.ToString()
