Yes you do. If you have hard coded the value you would have to change the value in code and recompile it. A better bet is to use configuration to store this value - in your case, you would want to store this in the ConnectionStrings section in app.config. This way, you only have to change the value in the config file and you will be able to run it against the new SQL database without recompilation.
