See the HttpWebRequest.Credentials property, which also includes an example. Note that .NET does not currently use the same password caching APIs that Internet Explorer and other native clients use. For more information about these, see WNetCachePassword and information about DPAPI[^] (supported on Windows XP and newer) on MSDN[^]. For an example of using DPAPI - which Internet Explorer uses on support platforms - with .NET, see the article, Using Credential Management in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003[^]. You'll still have to assign an ICredential implementation (like the provided System.Net.NetworkCredential class) to the HttpWebRequest.Credentials property, though.
