I totally agree with the sentiment here. I don't moderate articles very much but I've seen some real dross. However, I'm not sure how you're defining 'page' but in terms of screenfuls or printed page equivalence a good two page article is very possible. I can't remember who I'm mangling a quote from but it's been said that it's easy to write a 30 page article and hard to write a 3 page one.

I'd agree - it is possible to get a good two-page article, and it's certainly harder to write (and cover the material) than the thirty-page version would be.
But...It'd be a two page article without many huge pictures, and no double spaced code: which seems to be the fashion of the moment for "articles"...

It should be shorter.

The problem is that right know, there is too many cool thing to code... real coders don't have time to write article for now

Movie Quote Of The Day
Last one 'till next week Monday...
I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your home on the wedding day of your daughter. And may their first child be a masculine child.
Which movie?

Fabulous, fabulous technology from Stanford.
I really enjoyed reading the article until it mentioned the IBM effort.
This is called 'SyNAPSE'. And of course, it's a cute acronym for some b@ll@cks or other. At which stage I lose interest. I mean, it's 2014 and I suppose that the IBM'ers are adults, so seeing drooling, puerile attempts at backronyms for naming a project just makes me want to choke.
The IBM tech may or may not be cool.
I doubt it.
And I don't care.
