Ignoring isn't good enough, for me. When someone plays the @rsehole, I want a modicum of table-turning vengeance -- and they're more likely to go away if they're overtly ignored, rather than silently.

Just came back from Final Symphony[^].
Orchestrated arrangements of Final Fantasy music. Final Fantasy's VI, VII, and X, best of the best
Ticket for concert: €15,-
Parking garage: €40,- (that's what you get for parking about six hours in the center of Amsterdam )
Hearing some of the best soundtracks in the world to some of the best games in the world: Priceless

The irony of an orchestra playing under the projected image of a 1980s pixel game

There were no projected images and if there were I fail to see the irony
Also, why is your name very spammer-lookalike while your message isn't?

The FF prelude has been my ringtone for years, now.
It's remarkable how few developers recognise it, though -- put it this way: only one developer has ever recognised it.
The declining level of nerdity in the development world is shameful.

Wow, that's sad indeed!
I've got Electric the Chocobo from FFVII as a ringtone.
I know a few people (all developers) who recognize it

Ok, ok, there's no need to harp on about it!
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

Yep, if you know Final Fantasy you know that tune. How about this one[^]? Been there since FFI I think

It brings the 8-bit days to mind, so it probably was.

Nice. You might enjoy the sound track to Excalibur (1981)[^] as well.
My personal favorite symphony is Camille Saint-Sean's Symphony #3[^]. This[^] is an absolutely amazing recording -- at the time, was a state of the art digital recording, they removed the pews from the church to house the orchestra -- many recordings either dub in the organ or use a smaller organ / orchestra.
I first heard it at my gf's father's house. In the last part, the lights dimmed when the amp drew power. I kid you not.

I'll be sure to give them a listen!
Both Trevor Jones and Saint-Saëns are known to me, just not these works

You cannot be more ironic, than saying,
I dedicate this to my wife, Johanna Doe.

May I be the first to say that I don't have a clue what you're talking about?

Me either. And isn't it Jane Doe anyway?

I am agnostic, I believe in everything and nothing at all. It is arrogant to claim to know such things in my humble opinion. As the saying goes the more you know the more you realize you know nothing at all.

The irony in this statement is evident to all but you.
