Thanks. Yes, we have so many other things going on that we really don't need something like that to knock us back down.

You are absolutely right. Everyone at work are constantly keeping their eyes on the news. Except for those that could not come to work today because they live in areas of the county that are still under evacuation.

I'll never forget hearing Deep Purple at Fillmore West on November 30, 1968; also on the bill was one of my favorite groups, It's a Beautiful Day. I had just come back after forty-seven days at sea on a back-and-forth from Oakland, California to Da Nang, Vietnam on a refrigerated tractor-trailer carrying ship taking 292 containers of frozen vegetables, meat, picnic meats, etc. to the US troops (couldn't have our soldiers eating rice too often).
Purple rocked out, but those were the better-living-through-chemistry daze when it was easy to be rocked-out
cheers, Bill

I saw them when the reformed in Knebworth in 85, didn't think much of them then. Perhaps we were just too damn far from the stage.
Heck, even meatloaf looked tiny!

Both good groups but never got to see either one and I might have received some of the goods you were shipping as Da Nang was our closest supply point. We were very far north, about 7 miles from the DMZ so we didn't get a lot of creature comforts but when we did we appreciated the hell out of them thanks to guys like you. Thanks

Let's see...
The Lakers didn't make the NBA playoffs.
The owner of the LA Clippers is a racist.
Solange Knowles attached Jay Z in an elevator.
The "Bieb" investigated for robbery.
Its a madhouse! Nothing a small tactical nuke wouldn't cure... but a madhouse none the less.

Don't forget the on going celebritard undergarment shortage.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I think your pronouncements on what other people are thinking, or feeling, might carry more weight if you published them on stone tablets, and had them delivered by supernatural means.
