Wait a sec....If I recall, and am too lazy to look up, you started with a sensible V6 (Ford-3.0L?) and now you want to move up to a 427 (6.0L )? That must need to replace the entire drive train?

Actually, the numbers are 3.7 V6 to a 7-liter V8. Yes, everything except the radiator and rear end has to be changed.

Bit of a difference. I figured you would have to re-gear the rear end as well. Sounds like you have it in hand. Are you going to share a blog or anything on the transformation?

I don't know why you bought a new car. Should have bought used as you have replace most of the working parts.

Because I don't have to do the body work an old Mustang usually requires.

There is that.
I don't have the patience for body work. The endless sanding drives me crazy. However the metal work is fun.

You should have just bought my V8. (it's still for sale by the way, parked on the driveway while I drive the new car)

Excellent! The hammer on/pull off technique is extremely difficult for most to master.
Will Rogers never met me.

Hammering on/pulling off isn't that tricky if you take your time. Doing it on two necks, however, is the tricky part. Very, very impressive. And who doesn't love a bit of bluegrass?

That beats "Pippilotta Viktualia Rullgardina Krusmynta Efraimsdotter Långstrump", or as the English translation states: "Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraim's Daughter Longstocking".
The difference is that I've never heard of Clarissa Dickson Wright until today.
