I remember that he tried to recruit some of us to write articles there - for a change for money - but it turned out to be problematic (for me at least - tax related), but didn't know that he is the brains behind it...

Extra International payments for people that already have a job in at home country is a nightmare for most of us and in some extreme cases not even allowed...

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

A real job? Me? That's my true nightmare scenario.
We started ContentLab.io a couple of years ago (and seriously: 2 years already??) and we've grown to well over a hundred authors and editors. So yes, I guess it's starting to be a real job.
The team (Brigitta, Ryan, Terry and our awesome salesteam) do the real work. I just sit in meetings and make unreasonable demands on the team to ensure our clients are always happy.
cheers

Less than a metre, probably!

Only if I was born earlier - a meter seems reachable.

I was born in Mussoorie in 1945, my father's family having been there for 3 or 4 generations. Dad was in the Indian army so at partition we were obliged to leave, and came to the UK, which was mother's home. Growing up in the UK in the 40s and 50s we had curry of some sort at least once a week, my mother being a very inventive cook, which she learned while living out there.
I did not return until my business trips in 2005 when our company was working with MindTree. Sadly I did not get a chance to visit Mussoorie owing to various other pressures on my time.

So ... less than a yard then?
