They've been working toward this for several years. I think about seven or eight years ago my former employers installed several systems at their fab in South San Jose, CA. Curiously, this site used to be a Fairchild fab that was condemned due to chemical storage leakage. The site was excavated quite far down and completely rebuilt over about ten years.

I think enough dirt was removed from that site to have eliminated any possible concern. For that, anyway.

I have an IPad 1 and an MS Surface Go (version 1).
Never got anything to run on the IPad except a PDF reader (and Angry Birds); which required the "store" to access my own PDF's on my PC. Within 2 years, you couldn't update the OS anymore. Opera? LOL.
MS took their time, but did it right. My (baby) Surface can run VS2019. Out of S mode, it runs everything else. Paid less too. Oh, and I can build software to run on it without sacrificing my first born.
Apple makes me think of gold-plated bathroom fixtures. Oooooh, "desktop publishing" (80's).

I still have an iPad 1!
Worked great until I did a factory reset and lost all the apps. Still, I could easily just jailbreak the thing and I'm off to the races.
I like it for it's sentimental value.

German court says techno is music: [^].
The following content is a rendering of certain thoughts and emotions in the rather, at present, frazzled mind of a nominally human meat package with 1001 lunar cycles on it/him, perhaps well past its/his use-by date. If it doesn't entertain you ... it/he has failed (again).
Admittedly, his/its sense of humor tends toward a darker palette, and sharper ... rather than blunt. In such dark times as these, particularly for those former flaming youth who got their (swelled) heads busted for what they (naively) thought were good causes in the halcyon '60's, could immersion in such chthonic waters prove more of a homeopathic remedy, rather than a Lethean anodyne?
Clearly another sign of the impending, foreordained, disintegration of culture as the "End of Days" approaches to finish the job of wiping that destructive top-predator parasite, Homo Sap, off the face of the earth they have so fiendishly mutilated.
Death Metal, Heavy Metal, Rap, Hip-Hop, Techno: all the cacophony of the apocalypse to come as Shiva warms up to do the Tandava. I would not be surprised to know he has already incarnated in the human named Greta Thunberg, or, the Martian wanna-be, Elon Musk.

"trolling" ... Is there no place for satire here ? Must we rant only about trivia ?

I thought your post was entertaining but wasn't sure if it was satirical, because some people could have written it without satirical intent. The Joke button or a laughter emoji would have dispelled any doubt.

Glad you enjoyed it, Greg Quote: Satire, n. An obsolete kind of literary composition in which the vices and follies of the author's enemies were expounded with imperfect tenderness. In this country satire never had more than a sickly and uncertain existence, for the soul of it is wit, wherein we are dolefully deficient, the humor that we mistake for it, like all humor, being tolerant and sympathetic. Moreover, although Americans are 'endowed by their Creator' with abundant vice and folly, it is not generally known that these are reprehensible qualities, wherefore the satirist is popularly regarded as a sour-spirited knave, and his every victim's outcry for codefendants evokes a national assent. [Ambrose Bierce, "Devil's Dictionary," 1911]

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad.
Although some people have difficulties wrapping their head around that idea
Personally, I can enjoy Bach or Beethoven as well as Slayer, Wu-Tang Clan and Deadmau5.

Sure - I see the good in it! It's enabling!
For those who are both tone-deaf and totally talentless, they can now still become musicians!
Just by a drum-synthesizer, fire it up and burn an album! Maybe two!.
People who call out that shyte for the shyte it is - just spoil sports!
P.S.: this notion will be expanded to restaurants, medical care, and automotive repair. Everyone deserves to be what they want to be - if if they're absolutely inept; not supporting this concept is sheer snobbery.

But back to basics - even your post - (in particular your post !) prove my point immeasurably.
Sander Rossel wrote: Some artists really aren't that good, but not because they play a particular genre of music. Ah Ha! Found the root cause of your troubles ! You are calling anyone who picks up an instrument (paint brush, &etc) and artist. No - calling someone "an artist" implies some talent. Something you may do for very small children. For grownups? Maybe you should consider a reality check: just tell them the truth!
