It's all in the distinction between 'language' and 'programming language'.
HTML and XML are languages alright, just not programming languages.

|
|
|
|
HTML and XML are a "protocols"
|
|
|
|
|
Hold on! I have to disagree with that. HTTP is a protocol, not HTML.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

You are right. The L at the end stands for the language.

When you have your HTML element and it contains onclick='doThatThing()' - isn't it doing something. Never mind that it's calling, perhaps, javaScript. It's calling it and is thus doing something.
(Not that I care which way the debate falls).

I got my hands on a video and VLC is rendering it as 2 views side by side going on at the same time.

Maybe it's some sort of VR stream... Maybe there are VR option to only see one and just be V?!

The MKV format is actually an archive container like a TAR, ZIP or RAR container. There could be one, two or hundreds of audio/videos within the container. Search engine nomenclature for a ZIP file would be "How extract Zip file"
Likewise the search terms for a MKV container would be; "How extract MKV file"

I'd take a look at the file with MKVToolNix, first. It might be just some check-box that needs to be ticked.

I'd go for mkvtoolnix also. You should have 2 video streams in your mkv file, both of them may be declared as 'default'. You may just have to withdraw this 'default' attribute from one of these streams.

If you place a cardboard vertically along the dividing line between two views, and use your nosetip to hold the cardboard in place, the two views will probably melt together into one. It may spread out depthwise, though.
You might even like it. First time I saw a 3D image pair in a book on photography and tried with the cardboard, I had the greatest Wow! experience I ever have had from a book!

My development environment for a project spans 6 directories and a variety of tool sets. I've be happy if I could just launch Windows Explorer and have it start on a specific monitor and monitor location. I've figured out how to launch it and set a specific directory location, but there does not seem to be a way to specify a position from the command line.
Any suggestions for a utility that would allow me to position windows in this fashion? I know it's possible to do this, as in the past I've sent messages to specific windows.

I was working on such a thing, even had written the introduction to the article:

Positioning explorer windows is particularly nasty because you have to know the caption (IIRC).
If anything is of use there, let me know. The idea is to be able to open windows based on the "task".
I'll have to look at the links others provided to see if it gives me some insights.
