Hmmm. I remember it as ALT-decimal(numeric pad). PITA if you forgot num-lock.

It was added in 1709, but only if you were using the US keyboard layout.
The rest of us had to resort to editing the registry:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Input\Settings]
EnableExpressiveInputShellHotkey (DWORD) = 1

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
I also noticed that WindowsKey + ; actually works also (in addition to WindowsKey + .)

Interesting key name.
Seems to me that you're not being very expressive at all if you have to use pictograms rather than, y'know, actual words, to converse.
I'm very anti-emoticon, in case anyone still hasn't guessed. All they're doing is contribute to the dumbing down of society as a whole...something it doesn't need help with.

Well, actually, squids have 10 arms => !octopus.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Interestingly both have 10 armpits.
How do I know this? I heard they have ten tickles.

As others have said, your remark about Margot Kidder's looks was uncalled for (and untrue).
As LL, she certainly wasn't cast as a bombshell, but don't forget that Superman is set in the '50s. She was supposed to be a professional reporter in a period where too-pretty women were considered a liability in the office.

Knowing this, such was the reply when I asked if I could create a feature branch so I can separate what I'm adding to the dev branch, which I want to keep separate in case there are bugs fixes that need to be made and I don't want the code for the new feature making it's way into the dev->qa release process yet.

Hey, it's their shop, their product and also their rules.
Or, as I often say, may they learn to be careful what they ask for. They might get it.
