In their quest to be politically correct, they ruined this movie....the formula has been broken.
I did not leave the theater in awe, as I have done with past SW movies.

Every new part is worse than previous one. The way things are going they will force Wookie to shave, and be gay for a while, just to be on the correct side.

I thought the experience was excellent, given that my experience is that I haven't seen it and probably won't. I was sorely disappointed by the last two flops, and have no interest in seeing yet another. Maybe when it comes out on Netflix and I have a dull evening I'll watch it on my little laptop screen.

Given that Disney's about to take over Fox in order to better compete with Netflix, I think you'll be waiting a long time for it to show up there.

They've lost their way, of course.
It started out horrible, but improved toward the end.

Every freaking UFO / Alien attack (In Movies) takes place in the US, i guess they would love to die while fighting Aliens or they just want to show off anything. Nod idea but yeah i guess it's a US thing.

Quote: Every freaking UFO / Alien attack (In Movies) takes place in the US In fairness, that's only true of American movies, so is understandable enough. Japanese cinema/anime has no shortage of aliens landing in or attacking Japan... and there's always The Arrival of Wang, a wonderful Italian interpretation of the genre, for those of you wanting something a bit different to get your teeth into....
...but yeah, never miss an opportunity to laugh at the US - they do seem to have more than their fair share of loony toons...

Try Tarkovsky: Stalker (IMDb: Stalker) for a variant that is definitely unamerican in style.
If you taste is primarily in American style movies, don't waste your time on this one.
Others might enjoy it, though. It has a quite good reputation as an "art" movie.

Real life UFO sightings don't just occur in the US. They occur near air force bases all over the world.

Not surprising since of course people see many things that are 'unidentified' all the time.
However the story is attempting to claim that the source is extraterrestrials (back by proponents and a business), which is far different.

Japan was a favorite UFO target just about forever. "The Mysterians" was one of my favorite movies when I was little. Damn - they even put a long pointy nose on a robot.
If one goes by length as defining a movie, Dr Who's invasions were primarily of London (when on earth, at least).
However - I'm willing to compromise on this. How about we call it fair and put out signals so the next main attack is Quebec? Who-TF would care? We can let the aliens win and call it the mother of all win-win situations.

Err...no. Just one that I have seen...and a good one at that...
Attack the Block (2011) - IMDb[^]
Of course many do come from the US just as many bollywood movies are shot in India and many kpop movies come from Korea. However many types of movies originate from the US which are released worldwide because the US likes movies and money from movies.

UFO's and alien abductions are a modern thing; the pre-1950's equivalent was witches or fairies, the devil or succubi.
Before UFOs, witches were seen flying across the sky on brooms - now presumably they have all been shot down by the UFOs and take a taxi ...
DO I believe them?
No chance. Just look at the people who report the sightings - would they be a credible expert witness in a court trial?
