I really do like Google+ better than FB though.
Plus CP does post some funny/interesting things up there.
But, you stay off, because you are detoxing.

I totally love Google+. There is no one on it to bother me. Now that's my kind of social networking.

So, English is a bastardized language, borrowing from many to form itself, a mongrel of languages if you will... and a large percentage of the world speaks it, either as their native language or an additional one.
That got me thinking... is VB and its kin the English of the coding world?

No. VB is the Scouse of the coding world. C-like languages (including C, C++ and C#) are the English.

Nah.
VB would be US English.

Nope. We don't want it.
I think it's more like pig Latin.

Hello CP, my name is Jeremy, and I'm a Facebook addict. I don't like Facebook, I think it's retarded. And yet, I tend to visit it at least once a day, despite me not being a fan of it and just complaining about how much I don't like it. Well no more! I've been in recovery for a few days now, and it feels pretty good. Although I almost typed it in the URL just now, and so finding myself needing some encouragement saying that FB is stupid.
Please note, any and all pro-FB posts will be replied to with angry face emojis. Thank you.

I actually paid my daughter 200 bucks to stay off FB for six months.
Perhaps if you paid yourself 200 bucks, it might work too.

That was pretty smart... and a good idea. I might tie a reward to myself with not being on it.

Back when FB first came out and was .edu only I considered it a silly method for college kids to communicate. Nothing has really changed.
I've never created an account.

I find this to be true as well, and that's after seeing the types of posts on it for years.

It was very stress relieving when I was in Baghdad, a few years ago.
It is very stress creating at home, now.

Despite not having an account, I've blocked Facebook right in my router. That way I can't even follow Facebook links sent to me, accidentally or otherwise.
The few times I've been on that site, I felt my IQ dropping with every click.
