Hi All,
I have fallen into the classic Wiki-Google hole, you know I will look up X two hours later you are looking at Y thinking 'how did I get here from there!'...I originally started to look up odd Network cabling issue and ended up at border crisis in the Vietnam war! How?

The 'secret phrase' we gave our daughter when she was little, one that would be used by one of our friends when it was safe for her to go with someone (and scream bloody murder otherwise), was "blue-footed booby".

I love that. I'm curious by nature... I remember a evening where me and my GF spent 4 hours looking at the history of Turin (our hometown) from 1500 to 1900. And wandering in all the pages related to events, people, customs...

I'd be looking at Y wondering what the hell X was in the first place.

There was a post here today about someone whose grandfather had been in WW1 during Somme. That led me to Verdun -> Big Bertha -> old Fortifications and before I knew it I was reading about Japanese Tori gates. Curiosity killed the cat or at least a lot of time.

I once tried to search "Lesbians Fisting" and then spent the next hour reading about Lebanese Fighting... That was the day I really regretted not paying attention in spelling lessons.

Two years ago today we were in Vancouver[^] enjoying some wonderful Canadian hospitality, weather and fireworks. Would love to be there now.

My grandmother was originally from Vancouver. Never been there. Would like to see it though. I hear B.C. is very beautiful.

I first went there 50 years ago and fell in love with the place. Life changed and I did not manage to get back until 2014. It's obviously changed in that time but still one of the nicest parts of North America that I have ever visited. Lots to see and do, including a trip over to Vancouver Island.

Heading there tomorrow for a vacation. Well, to visit wife's family but you get the idea. I have never really been there, flew through it a few times on my way to the Island, so this is a chance to explore a bit.

I live there, actually one hour east in Abbotsford, and it is the best place to live. I have never visited another place I thought I would like to move to.
