That was the temperature around 2pm in my son's car yesterday. He took a picture. Crazy hot.
It was still 111F when I was driving on the freeway around 6pm.
Too hot, way too hot.

115°F, 112°F, 114°F, 113°F - the 4 day forcast in Phoenix AZ where my folks live. Hell, I'm complaining about the 90°F we're having today in Chcago.

Crazy - we should be back to some quite cool low 90s...

It can be, but I've never felt heat like I did in AZ when I was there a few weeks ago.

Kinda makes you want to run out there and buy a house, doesn't it? My folks are one of the three left on their block, as the snow birds have flown home.

Cozy!!
IN the car or just normal outside temperature ?
I'd rather be phishing!

Displays the outside temp.

If it would be 117 anywhere outside of America it would seriously be the apocalypse.
But then again, the rest of the world uses Celsius
Coincidentally, 117 is also the number of the house I grew up in and lived for 26 years

True, but think of the pretty sunrises, the all encompassing, sky filling, ground melting, red sunrises.

It would indeed be 'cool' to see!

It's just lovely isn't it.
It doesn't half hit you like a wall when you step out of air conditioned house (nominally set at 21'C).

We mostly do not cross the 100F here and the main stream is about 93F (summer of course) and we still complain all day long...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

But...
I don't have to shovel it.
It doesn't cause roofs to collapse.
It doesn't block the road.
It keeps the alligators away.
Better to think positive. I tell myself that. Often.

Damn! I was hoping Chris would have a Cavs logo for CP this entire week

Who? Cavs - how many cows are there?
Just joking. I do not watch basketball that much.
Mongo: Mongo only pawn... in game of life.

Didn't believe they could come back. I think it was the first time a 1-3 was actually turned into a 4-3 victory in the finals.
Over the whole season the GGW would have deserved the win, but in the playoffs the Cavs showed some dedicated performance. So, well done!

The ending and post-game was like a soap opera. So much drama and emotion.

Talking about the Cavs just wouldn't be cricket.

Losers can won anytime by chance just like the Cavs and some CP authors (See today's CP email). I would rather gave the reward to Thunders after GSW.
And why Chris put a loser logo here. It would be disgraceful.
