I started writing my first article yesterday about the Corona SDK which is based on the Lua programming language however on the selection of languages on the article writer, the language is not listed.
Can it be please be added on the list. For code formatting too there might be some keywords that we perhaps will have to add on it. I'm prepared to volunteer some time for that too (if possible).

You need to raise this here: Site bugs and suggestions[^] as only the admins can do that.
However, it will depend on the perceived level of need (now and in the future) for such a category, and changes to the syntax highlighter are unlikely unless there is a large number of potential users.
I've never heard of it, so I don't know how large that demand is - but I'm guessing pretty small..

You find Lua in bunches of games and some other desktop software. The problem with creating a forum specifically for Lua is that the vast majority of questions are going to be dependent on the game it's used in and not the language itself. The knowledge base for those particular games/software will be very small. That is better left up to a forum dedicated to that game/software.

I'm getting kind of tired always slowly raising my hand when someone asks, "Who does something like that?!?”

This quote comes to mind as I am finally getting around to setting up the new laptop. It has been really bugging me that to use the default functions for the Function keys, I have to press the Fn key!!! It makes for great fun whilst stepping through code or even just refreshing a web page. I just checked and it seems to be a bios setting...but still, why?

Did your laptop maker get rid of the menu key and replace it with the print screen key like mine did?
Hey Lenovo, get rid of the silly little red button stick and give me back my functional menu key!

Nah, just the Fn key was backward, having to press the Fn key to activate the 'default' actions for the Fn keys. It's the first laptop I've seen setup like that. At least it was easy enough to switch in the BIOS. I'm seriously considering hooking up a real keyboard to it anyway, at least when using it in the office.

Is a sh*t beer.
But when you're at your niece's 16th birthday and it's Corona or Peroni Leggera it's Corona all night long.

Perhaps you ought to contact Anele 'Mash' Mbanga (see entry entitled 'Please include Lua Programming Language' (two topics above) who is writing an SDK specifically for Corona

Everw single time I need to print something out at home, the damn printer takes 10 freaking minutes "cleaning the printing heads" or whatever other elephanting piece of printer. (HP Officejet 6700).
Printing is expensive enough, I don't need half of my cartridges be sucked into oblivion every time I start the machine.
Home printers is an industry runned by doomed people : guys, I hate you so much.

Home printing definitely sucks if you need colour printing and cannot afford a colour laser printer.
I don't print in colour and a laser brother printer has served me well for the past 8 years - the toner cartridges are cheap in comparison to inkjet cartridges and they last a long time.
If you don't need colour consider getting yourself a laser printer.

I swore off bubble-jet printers when the last set of cartridges I bought dried up before I ever got a chance to use them. I paid $100 for my color laser (HP LaserJet Pro CP 1025), and have never been tempted by another bubble-jet since.

Get an Epson - the ink tank is separate from the print head (they use a different technology, HP is a "bubble jet" which used heat to expel the ink, Epson uses piezo technology licensed from XAAR) so when the ink runs out, you change the just tank, not the head and it it's a lot cheaper. And it doesn't need cleaning so often.
I find that provided I print reasonably regularly - weekly in high summer - it just works, and doesn't dry out and need cleaning at all.

I have a Canon multifunction printer scanner copier. It can't scan without ink cartridges installed Copying I can understand, but why disable photo / document scanning. It's pretty noisy as well and also does the unnecessary print head cleaning. It's auto double sided printing is pretty cool though and the scanning software works well in separating and auto rotating multiple scanned pics.

Apparently there are workarounds for that though - holding in the stop button until the error goes away.
