If it was the latest batch of students that coded it, they probably all would!

Agree.
A better password is:

Haha. I didn't want to spend more than a millisecond on some temporary password storage, so I made the column nvarchar(500) , because being given password length limits like 10 characters just makes me batcrap angry.

I'm almost done - but I'm somewhat stumped on the last step.
Unfortunately, I'm busy tomorrow, but I'll pick up and take care of the rest. Really soon.

Bob's typical workday misses an important item ...
- Review of the work done by the outsourced contractor.
Or, rather, just half-hour per day (4:30 to 5:00 pm, which also includes email update to management).
Looks like this was sufficient, given that he was rated high for several quarters.

I don't understand your problem... I thought you had memorised all of the interview questions and asked the CodeProject guys to answer them for you?

I did, but now the company unreasonably expects me to be able to actually do the job, The course didn't prepare me for the fact that the stuff I cribbed off CP I might get asked to actually use in the real world.
It's so unfair

I ams having doubts about what colours to use for the forms on my products. How do I chose the bestest colours?

This is the lo........* typical answer
Was too lazy to write it down completely !
BTW. : Paint all colours on your wall and then chose the best by throwing blindly at it, there where the scissor gets stuck in the wall (or leaves a hole), that's the best
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

Just keep the form grey and then paint one of these[^] on your screen

The "best" color is a setting; make it configurable, so that Marketing can change the color-scheme each week.
Same goes for font, size, and icon-sizes.

You should have a color palette control at the top of each form, allowing the user to dynamically adjust the color to his liking for ultimate user convenience. But you should disallow him to select the same color for two or more forms in his own best interest in order to make the forms more distinct and the whole application look more cheery!

Don't! It reminds me of a product I worked on back in the very early days of Windows. I think every possible font and colour was used.

We once had a requirement come into a team I working in, for a screen with red lettering on a green background ... the requirement stood despite the advice.
The coder that was given the work was colour blind.
So was the person that QA'd their work.
So was the person that did the acceptance testing.
There were some seriously painful colour combinations doing the rounds until the requirements were amended (to white on black). All in all a huge waste of time and money.
