It's funny because it's true. Some times I wonder why I am in this line of work, but then I realize that the life style is the best. I love my 300 foot commute.
Within you lies the power for good - Use it!

You at worst come in penultimate, to the president of an adjoining country.

I feel I must remain true to my East Canadian roots.

Holy crap! I look like Chris, only a bit heavier and with slightly more hair.

Nah.
Geoff Blair's not related to Tony or Linda.

In my mind, he always had a "shrimp on the barbie" kind of accent. There goes that illusion.

I just found Kali Linux[^], which (apparently) is 'The most advanced penetration testing distribution, ever'.
It looks quite interesting, TBH.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

meh, it's just linux with a bunch of programs pre-installed. You can probably set up the same thing in just about any other linux distro.

It's actually a successor to Backtrack, Backtrack isn't actively developed anymore
|
|

Too bad. BackTrack came in useful a couple of years back when I did a vulnerability scan of one of our robotic products.
These days the nearest I get to dodgy stuff is Tails. Here in the UK Pirate Bay is behind the Great Bacon Firewall, but Tails goes through that like a politician's teeth. Just don't let the Daily Mail photograph you doing it.

Kali is almost identical to BackTrack, it is "the rebirth of BackTrack". From my playing around it has all the same applications installed but is on a new kernel and with update apps. They really do appear to be continuing the legacy of BackTrack

There are a lot of free (or pirate-able) documents for Kali Linux if you're interested in learning more about it. I'd recommend "Kali Linux - Assuring Security by Penetration Testing" by Lee Allen or "Mastering Kali Linux for Advanced Penetration Testing" by Robert Beggs.

Backtrack had Martin Muench involved, the same guy who sells spyware (Finfisher) to governments that kill their citizens. I wouldn't trust either distro. Just install the tools you need from whatever distro you prefer.

@Chris-Maunderr: Just wondering when CP will be available in other languages. It will be tough job though considering the number of articles uploaded daily (they will have to be available in such languages too).
Could help with Yoruba anyways

With some of the articles, I have to wonder when they'll be available in English.
|
|
|
|

And that will be the price to pay for having 99% of all programming language in English! (Heard of a language composed of white space). That begs the question, how do those Arabs, Russians, and those who don't use the Roman alphabet cope with coding?
