Yes, been playing for 4+ years now (US central server).
I also am an avid World of Warcraft player since 2014. Playing the new Dragonflight expansion pack. So far so good.

My best performing tank is the U.S. TL-1 LPC. It has a well trained crew.
What's your best performing tank?

My best performing tank currently is the T10 Heavy - AMX M5 54. The gun dispersion is currently at 0.29 at 100 meters and hits with an average of 560-600 HP. Very nice tank, highly recommend it - worth the grind.
My pure fun tank is the T10 FV4005 TD. One-shot kills are so much fun. My survival rate is very low in this tank as you may know, but getting 2-4 kills a battle before I die is worth it.

I had never heard of that game until I recently got flooded with ads for it on YouTube. The type you can't block.
And this is exactly how not to market something. They've already made me swear I'll never play it due to their in-your-face advertising.
Ads can backfire.
[Edit]
Not to take anything from you. If you enjoy it, awesome.

That's very interesting. I have never seen a YouTube ad for it. Do you play other games?

Literally the only game I've been playing, for years now, is GTA Online.
I never log into YouTube, and tend to watch videos in private mode, so unless they use some rather unique system fingerprinting, they don't have much to go on to build a good profile out of my viewing history.

I swore off WOT when they started their BS of corrupting the game. Once you get to tier 8, the fun stops.
- The game started from a historical perspective; it's now so full of BS magic tanks that it's stupid.
- I was grinding the German TD line. Was about to get my Waffentraeger E100 - they removed it from the game.
- I liked playing arty. I was all ready to buy my T92. They nerfed it. The russian tank players still kept
whining, they nerfed arty again.
- Now they let reward tanks into random battles where all they do is spam gold.
- etc.
I played for about 10 years - almost from the beginning. No thanks, but you have fun.

I wish I knew the game as well as you apparently do. I've seen YOutube videos where the presenter can identify the strengths and weaknesses of just about every tank in the game from memory.
Why do you say the fun stops at tier 8?

Easy - once you get to tier 8, all of the match making changes. You'll start running into tier 10s. You will convince yourself that if you get to your tier 9 <whatever>, it will get better. But no, you now run into impervious Russian tanks (907) that never existed, magic Italian autoloaders, etc.
If you decide you really want to get to tier 10, forget about American/German. Don't push. Just camp. And for God's sake, don't listen to QuickyBaby.
Still waiting on those Russian/Ukrainian assholes to release an M1 Abrams - but no, they won't do that because the russian players will cry like babies.
It's an arcade game now.

Quote: It's an arcade game now. I guess that's what attracts me to it, good ole fashioned arcade action ramped up with high end graphics cards.
I can sense your frustration, but I know that comes from a place where the game ought to be more realistic. I just play it for what it is, and I must confess I've dropped some change on it.

that's fine. I'm old school. Just go in eyes wide open. If I ever go back to playing (see below), I won't go above tier 7. Tanks aren't mystical fairies and dragon farts.
Before I can play any more games:
- fix the lights in the laundry room;
- renovate the master bath and bedroom;
- finish painting the laundry, the back deck, and the front porch;
- put in a new walk in front, etc.
- replace the upstairs a/c and furnace;
Yeah, not looking good for WOT.

apparently the new Christmas loot box tanks this year have jet packs on the back. so now, you have a couple tanks that fly on the ground like jet fighters. very stupid, if you ask me.
All the artillery has been nerfed not just the T92 (which I have).
I still love the game but in small doses. I don't play it as much as I have in the past. Definitely not buying the super expensive Christmas loot boxes this year - yikes!!

I am finding it more and more addicting. The graphics are a real treat to observe.
But I'm used to paying 25 cents per play, since I grew up in the 80's. I'm not used to this $50, $79, $140 to play a video game.

One thing I will say in WOT's favor - they have done an excellent job graphically modelling tanks and scenery. It's quite impressive.
If you drop one nickel on them, you've drunk the Kool-Aid. Repent.

lol, not judging just giving you some advice.
Years ago, WOT rolled out the Chrysler K or something. Premium. Impenetrable from the front unless you used gold ammo. One of their star contributors declared total BS and ripped them a new one from Murmansk to the Black Sea. They terminated his community contributor status, filed a complaint with YouTube and threatened him legally. And it just got worse.
But don't worry, WOT came out with MORE magic tanks with better pen, etc. They don't give a poo about long term players. They make their money on the churn.
Here endeth the lesson. RIP Sean.

I am reading a book related with the Great Pyramid of Gizeh and get this statement:
"the natural repose of sand is 48 degree".
but when I did google and find this link.
it tells me the for dry sand, this angle is 30 degree.
do I miss anything?
diligent hands rule....
