As I've always said... youthful exuberance is no match for old-age and treachery!!

Slightly depressing. But on the flip side, 24 year olds are the sort addicted to Facebook, spend their time watching music videos and don't really know much about anything. People become adults sometime in their 30s, or maybe younger if they have kids.

Amazing that a doctoral thesis can be based on researching "how old is too old to play Starcraft 2". PhDs aren't what they used to be.

Hi
Is there a website that I could post an open Source project on that developers use to find a project to work on (linking projects with developers) Like OpenHatch but for development not bug fixes. The project is hosted on Github, but there is zip chance that it will ever be trending or featured.
If not so, what are your thoughts on moving this to the suggestions forum of Code Project (connecting Coders with Projects)?
Thanks in Advance

Thanks I didn't even think of Code Plex. I thought it was just like Github

It's not a repost - I seconded the suggestion, as implied by the word "also".

Am I missing something? What about SourceForge?[^]

My project won't make any popular lists, so I need a way of 'advertising' that the team needs more members. Is there something on sourceforge?

Sorry, I don't know. I do know that I have seen projects advertising for coders but I couldn't tell you how it was set up.
There is this page though: HelpWanted[^]

You could try here[^]
although it's not quite as 'visible' as open source projects go - there's still quite a potential audience!

I thought it was just a another place to host the project? Am I missing something? Anyway it is good idea as the audience will be of higher quality.

|

well, it is another place to host a project - isn't that what you want to do - elbeit open source?
I don't think you can make a CP one completely public, but you could certainly invite a better class of people!

Kevin suggested exactly what I am looking for - CodePlex. On the homepage is a 'Find a Project' button which allows projects to advertise vacancies.

By the sound of it you're gonna need some time off to recover from your time off!

Yeah I'm definitely going to need some rest after this trip, but it's worth it.

Yes it does. I grew up here and I've seen more in 2 weeks then I did when I lived here.

When you were growing up your interests were getting girls to go out and see the more deserted places around.
Unfortunately, as I get older I want to see all the places that tourists come to see.
