I've got 2 Brother printers and both are connected via WIFI. The one in my office (HL-3140CW) works with Windows 10 or with MX Linux. The other printer (MFC-L2710DW) is the wifey's so I never tried printing to it while in Linux. It was, however, auto-discovered when I installed Linux so I just assume I can print to it in Linux.

Well ....... I have a 25-year-old HP LaserJet 6L that runs like a tank.
I also have an HP15C engineering calculator I still use almost daily - It's about 35 years old.
Back in the day HP designed and built to succeed - not fail!

I have an HP laser printer at home. It is connected to a wireless router and has a fixed IP address. It does not require Internet access, though it works with my phone better with it. I highly recommend laser over ink for overall price as well as not clogging up and requiring buying a new printer because of not being able to unclog it at a reasonable price. I have enough trouble with Epson that I gave up on them. None are perfect.

I just took two HP all-in-one printers to the electronics recycler yesterday. One worked reasonably well, but became unusable when HP stopped supporting its ink cartridges, which had a chip that badgered me for using past-the-pull-date cartridges. Actually the final set of brand-new-from-HP cartridges had this issue.
The second one was a wide-format all-in-one capable of printing 11x17. The printer mechanism failed in some way, and it wouldn't let me use the scanner or fax machine components because the printer hardware wouldn't initialize.
A new set of ink cartridges for either of these printers was over $100. What a rip-off.
HP printers have always been a bear to install and keep connected. I have a masters degree in computer science. I sometimes wondered what my mom would do if she bought an HP printer.
I have a Brother 1717 monochrome laser all-in-one now. It installed first try, has never given an instant of trouble, and all its parts work reliably. Plus it was cheaper than an HP inkjet all-in-one.
HP has worked diligently to lose my business. Good riddance to unusable rubbish.

This . I have an EE degree and have been hard at work for 40 years. If it takes me more than 10 minutes (including unpacking) to get a printer working, that's a fail on the printer maker's part. Don't even get me started on the useless outsourced support to India (no offense intended to our Indian CP'rs). The first yahoo I got asked me how they could help. Now you know as soon as you tell them what the problem is they say something like "we are very sorry blah blah blah." Microsoft does the same useless platitudes as well. Anyway, I think they had a chat fail, because the first response was:
"Empathy prompt: we are so sorry you are experiencing this problem..."
Seriously, they have a button they push for this.

fwiw, I'm going to grab a used Samsung off eBay. I think I'll be happy. I went out to NewEgg to see if I could scrounge one there. I found one close to the old wireless basic laser I used to have. They want $800 for it.
I'm in the wrong business.

A little SOTW half in the week
Except, the S is now Statistics instead of Sound.
However, it has everything to do with the Sound OTW!
I've been doing the SOTW for I didn't know how long.
I've shared I didn't know how many songs.
You see, I never kept a list of what I actually posted.
Last night, I was bored and decided to write a little program that would crawl through the Lounge and extract every SOTW I ever posted.
The list is now complete, so here are some fun facts and statistics about the SOTW.
My first SOTW was a thread named "Ghost...", which I posted on 08-12-2015 after visiting a Ghost concert the weekend before: Ghost...[^] (currently page 11518 of the Lounge )
Two days later, on 10-12-2015, I posted a second song in a thread I named SOTW[^]
I guess I had Christmas break after that because the next SOTW wouldn't come until 02-01-2016, a few weeks later, it then got it's name Song of the Week[^]
The Song of the Week would exist for about six months until I decided to name it Sound of the Week[^] instead, on 09-06-2016.
And that's how the SOTW as we now know it was born!
So far I've posted 278 SOTWs total of which 272 are unique sounds.
My most shared artist is VOLA, with a total of five songs.
I've shared Rondò Veneziano, Yoko Shimomura, Keiichi Okabe, and Nobuo Uematsu four times.
Neurotech, Nightwish, Oranssi Pazuzu and The Seatbelts were shared three times.
Other than that I've shared 15 artists twice and a whole lot of artists once.
I've only shared six songs more than once, all twice:
Chairlift - Bruises
Wojciech Kilar - Générique
Aram Khachaturian - Sabre Dance
Dyscarnate - Nothing Seems Right
Emeli Sandé - Read All About It, Pt. III
Rondò Veneziano - Zodiaco
These came as a total surprise to me, especially Emeli Sandé (great song though)
Only once have I shared two songs in one SOTW, Massive Attack and Textures, on 04-02-2016, the 8th SOTW: Song of the Week[^]
Someone once asked me: "Will you still listen to this 25 years from now?" and then made a remark that if the answer was "no" then why was I wasting my time now.
I still listen to some of the sounds I've shared, but probably not even half.
I've completely forgotten about some of them.
Hearing some of them now still brings a smile to my face
And hearing them then also brought a smile!
Unfortunately, this is all I have.
Nothing on genres, albums, replies, upvotes, etc.
Still pretty cool though, and I now have a list with awesome songs to (re-)explore
The regular SOTW will resume on Friday

A good amount of Nobuo but you could do with more Nightwish. Everyone could do with more Nightwish.

I've listened to it more than four times as many as my #2 artist (Yoko Shimomura, 11,637 vs. 2,825 "scrobbles").
All in all, I've listened to a whole lot of Final Fantasy music

My Nightwish days are, mostly, behind me.

Mine too but only because a brand new band took their place (I like very little of post-Tarja). The band is Nocturna, if you're interested. They released their debut album mid January and I was their fan from the day they announced their formation: I happened to know both singers personally and they are amazing.

Is their album named "Daughters of the Night"?
Would've loved this some 15 years ago, but it's not something I'd listen to again in 2022.
I think my SOTW's that come somewhat close (other than Nightwish) are Cellar Darling, Delain and Nemesea.

Yes that's the album.

You could but the reaction could be very different. Taste changes, technology changes. We change.
I used to watch few things when I was young, say Duck Tales which I loved back then. Now, I can watch it for nostalgia value but I would prefer watching true crime documentaries over it.

16 years ago I used to listen Rhapsody of Fire. I still listen to them but my reaction is quite different

I had to google who Rhapsody of Fire are. I still don't know if you now understand their music better or if you think you were listening to bad music earlier.

Yes
It's good music but a bit cringey and full of tropes, overproduced and very cringey - yes I know I said it twice. It has its charm but honestly I'm not delving much more into Power Metal because the entire genre is like that. It gets boring fast.

In the name of Holy Thunderforce!
I think your current reaction was pretty much my initial reaction, although they have some enjoyable songs.
A friend of mine listened to it a lot, and he got it from me

The Duck Tales theme song is still fire though!

Indeed but I have always watched it in Hindi. I do not know how the Dutch or English version is like. I might end up comparing lyrics this Friday evening!

Maybe you should share that Lounge-Crawling-Program code as a short article or tip. Will be useful to others like me.

Fairly certain it wouldn't.
Do an HTTP request, parse the returned HTML using the HTML Agility Pack, then if (html.Contains(">Sound of the Week<")) select a specific node and then go .ParentNode.ParentNode.NextSibling because I've looked exactly at what I needed.
Counting how many parent, sibling or child nodes you have to skip is hardly worth an article

Ok.
It's also true that a lot of "programmers" will not know how to do it. Isn't it.
