4 for me
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming βWow! What a Ride!" - Hunter S Thompson - RIP

Interesting - we all took different routes, and got the same result: 4/6.

First lets say I have NO Phone.
Second lets say I link my Phone to my Desk Top Windows 7 Computer.
Third I have started not sharing my phone number with anyone.
Yes it is a pain I bought $500.00 of Milwaukee Power Tools from Home Depot
It was a Internet deal I explained I had NO Phone or Internet
An Hour later and Store Manager I had the deal YES it was a wasted hour
So Why is this Safer?
Apple, Google, and Microsoft team up to support passwordless FIDO logins - The Verge[^]
And How Many of You will give in to this ?
If I am just a crabby old man these days sorry!

Let me explain...
1. The person does not have a phone. NO PHONE! Got it?
2. They connect the phone (that they do not have) to a Windows 7 desktop computer for no apparent reason.
3. They never give their phone number (that they do not have) to anyone.
4. It hurt but they bought $500 worth of tools from Home Depot.
5. The $500 was a special internet only deal so they badgered the store manger for an hour until the manager caved.
6. They want to know why "this" is safer but don't define "this".
7. They link to an unrelated story about "passwordless" logins for our dogs.
8. They ask how many of us will give in to abandoning our phones, badgering store managers and buying overpriced tools.
9. They apologize for being old and crabby.
See? Clear as mud!!

Wow! You should go into Translation Services. Seriously, freaking amazing! and made me laugh.
Maybe you should do some Comedy routine where you have a Person who stands on stage blathering and you stand to the side & translate. Now that I'd pay to watch for 1 or 2 hours.
Seriously, made me laugh.

Really did not badger the Store Manager
They just did not know how to deal with a customer who did not have a phone or the internet.
Hence now way to send me promotional e-mails
I do appreciate your humor
Not sure about the passwordless logins for our dogs ? ? ?
