Yeah, my take on that is the government losers got embarrassed, and decided to take revenge.
Luckily, it will be laughed out of court, and the losers just got themselves the Streisand Effect because of it.

Had they provided a link the page I certainly would have. I don't feel like searching for it.

And we all know that technically correct is the best kind of correct.

The next time someone finds a bug like this on a State of Missouri web-site I expect it will simply be publicized rather than giving the State a chance to fix it.

Most so-called democracies now have the best politicians money can buy. It is unreasonable to expect politicians to understand any technology more advanced than knives (as in sticking in backs) and forks (as in fork over the cash).
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

The race to the bottom just seems to accelerate in politics!
Surely it's time to make would-be politicians take some sort of aptitude test, before they are allowed to stand. Since the electorate seem more than happy to vote for grifters & crazies, as long as they're standing for their political party.

Just the fact that the governor is commenting on this case tells me it was political from the outset.
The governor does not like the press embarrassing their state. That's why he's going after them.
If this was a standard crime, you wouldn't have even heard about it. The marching orders came from the governors office, not the prosecutor's office. They want revenge. Count on it.
