Coffee enemas are a thing, though. Not sure why, though I imagine it would speed the caffeine intake.

You might as well get an IV of pure caffeine (in the correct amount, obviously...). It has all the same disadvantages of no taste and no smell, but a much smaller "yuck factor".

An acquaintance with hepatitis-C used coffee enemas to "purge the liver", where (as I understand it) the coffee (caffeine?) caused the liver to dump the toxins it had collected, all at once. I have no idea if this really works in any fashion, just reporting what I was told.

To answer the OP:
- if hot, I like it dark, with sugar and extra extra coffee
- if cold, I like it dark with honey
And, it seems its time for more

Since you brought it up.
I am a lifelong sufferer of migraines.
Turns out, Coffee Enemas actually work to reduce the migraine.
AND, regular enemas cause cleansing, which will stop a multiple day migraine event (for some of us).
There is a concept of Leaky gut. And too many things getting into the bloodstream, wreaking havoc.
Now for the STRANGE Part...
A Coffee Enema, even when combined with Magnesium Salts... Is AMAZINGLY RELAXING.
I think the rush of caffeine into the blood stream becomes a bit euphoric.
And BEWARE. One does not DO HOT COFFEE this way!!! NOOOOOO!

Greetings I am sorry to hear you suffer migraines May I inquire if they are diet related?

No worries.
Yes, and I am a firm believer that most migraines are caused by leaky gut/diet.
Peanuts result in a migraine 2 days after I eat them.
Egg Whites and Mayo = Visual Migraine, shutting me down hard, within hours.
(Mayo is made with seed oils and the emulsifiers are something I can react to).
Stevia (from the ragweed family), will slowly raise my BP like 3-5 pts/day, it takes 2-3 days to clear a small amount, and up to 7 days of pure avoidance to start lowering, if I have been using it just once daily in my morning coffee.
My Psoriasis stopped bleeding when I gave up tomatoes.
I basically eat meat, salt, water. Coffee. No dairy. No grains/breads/carbs. No vegetables.
After 3 years of eating this way, I am much healthier. And have fewer migraines by a factor of 10, until I cross the line (I had almond butter last week for some STUPID reason... 3 days of massive headaches, LOL). I have gone weeks without getting a migraine. Then something stupid is done, and I am quickly reminded why I don't do that.
And it can be as simple as eating out and they put some seasoning on the meat. Or they used a marinade with something that bothers me, and failed to mention it.
Search for a YouTube Video by Mikhaila Peterson "Don't Eat That". I've met her. It was her story that made me try going carnivore... And I thanked her, as I recovered so much of my health because of removing processed foods, etc. [Losing over 100lbs doesn't hurt either, which was easy eating this way]

a) with explanations:
0: It's easy...pour and go
1: No worries regarding missing additives away from home
2: No additives to reduce/absorb the heat
3: Consistency - While I do have a few favorite blends, (Community Coffee being one ) I'm not at all picky so long as it's hot, strong and black.
