If a meaner mistaken in spoiling by a very bright prison who happens not to be a native Anglish speaker wets your appetite, you may need to adjust your psychoactivity mastications.
«If you search in Google for 'no-one ever got fired for buying IBM:' the top-hit is the Wikipedia article on 'Fear, uncertainty and doubt'» What does that tell you about sanity in these times?

Every time I see your new name, I think of long holes with roads going through them. Am I suffering from Karel Tunnel Syndrome?

I think you may have struck a nerve.
"the debugger doesn't tell me anything because this code compiles just fine" - random QA comment
"Facebook is where you tell lies to your friends. Twitter is where you tell the truth to strangers." - chriselst

No, you're thinking of the frustration of travelling with cow-orkers every day: Carpool Tunnel Syndrome.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Get your coat, NOW
... and none of that "but I'm at home" nonsense!.
Life is like a s**t sandwich; the more bread you have, the less s**t you eat.

This reminds me of the Caldecott on (U.S.) Interstate 580 in the Northeast region of the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
The Caldecott is the name of the artificial underground passage w/freeway bore thru the mountain to provide quicker passage.
This one dude was trying to experiment with travelling to work with others of us in our vehicles on a daily basis, but kept freaking out whenever we would enter and go through the Caldecott.
After a few times of observation, I was readily able to assess him as having:
CTS ~ Carpool Tunnel Syndrome

Fascinating as usual.
Today, in office, we had a discussion on Olber's Paradox[^]. Why is the sky dark at night, when in fact, we should see light everywhere at night - essentially sitting in a "bowl of light".
I still don't think I understand the answer to this.

Thanks for the link. Yes - this explanation is more understandable. I liked this sentence: "The darkness of the night sky is a characteristic that argues against infinity".

Things are a bit quiet in the Lounge today.....in fact, it feels like it has been a lot quieter around here lately, and that is taking into consideration DD lack of activity.
You would almost think it was a weekend.

I have meant to ask before, but keep forgetting, but what is the origins of the PIEBALD cow picture and how did you come to think of that?

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.
