FYI,
I hit the home menu after reading an article here on CP and it routed me to rootadmin.com.
I thought I was pwned!
Never heard of that site. Did whois lookup etc.
Okay, well, I guess all is back. Must'a been the Hadron collider caused the web quarks to explode into smaller particles and reroute to rootadminc.com
Oh, only way I could get back to CP was to ping CP and I got ip : 76.74.234.210
Put that in browser then got back.
I guess rootadmin is: 76.74.234.220]
Looked like fouled up DNS so not sure how I got the ping IP address back properly.
Ours is not to wonder why...but I do.

Legend has it that Plenty of Fish (no linkie, I'm sure you can find it if you don't already have an account) was started by the developer as an exercise in learning ASP.NET. He (pretty much personally) grew that into a very highly scaled and profitable business[^] over the last twelve years (USD6,000,000/year in Google ads). Now he's selling it to Match[^] (.com) for USD575Million.
Maybe Chris needs to set up dates for the hamsters (or sheep?) or something.

Selling something for a specific value does not equal to holding that amount in cash.
And yes, sounds like a lot, but prices are rather distorted. I'd also be pointing out that the architecture allows for scalability - which is worth a lot, but that does not make the complete company scalable.
