Not that I recall but I could be wrong. (Don’t let my wife know I said that!)

Whether it was a CCC or not, it is certainly one that I have seen before in another context, and it is quite surprising.

Baby's first birthday party: 14 adults fined £800 each[^]
The UK is on lockdown, but that doesn't apply to my baby. How did the police know where to go? They hung party banners outside the house ...
Truly, you can't fix stupid. But you can laugh at them!

The biggest threat seems to be from those infected that are asymptomatic ... and those numbers are huge (apparently).
I think most don't even know what asymptomatic means. And of course: "children are immune" (Not).
It was only in wine that he laid down no limit for himself, but he did not allow himself to be confused by it.

Yes, but you might be able to set the penalty for stupid to be forced sterilization, so that society doesn't have to watch for your stupid kids. I wouldn't support that, since stupid seems to be self-curing. But with the current administration here in the Colonies, I won't be surprised to see some such solution proposed.

The problem is that their definition of congenital stupidity and yours probably differ on almost every point. But that is verging to close to politics...

Justice would require that they fine the baby for being 1 year old, thereby being the reason for the party.

I'll see your birthday party and raise you an Orgy[^]
On that topic, I don't really get the tradition of British media to do the best they can to identify the culprit for everyone, short of naming them.
As if the medieval pillory would still be existing.

I can see how Social Distancing would be a problem there ...

Aight, there is.
We did. A bbq with the family, and went to the Greek restaurant (before they closed). Big family, so big I didn't recognize everyone at the BBQ. Had to introduce myself.
So.. guilty last year. This year, we wanted a big party since my father is retiring. And not having one. Maybe next year, if allowed.
..but there was no orgy with 81 people, just a small BBQ.
